Description
The probe is rotated 90 degrees in an anti-clockwise manner with the probe mark pointing to the head of the infant in a sagittal plane. The probe is then angled slightly to the right to show the IVC and hepatic vein draining in to the right atrium.Position

In the sagittal view, the IVC is seen draining into the right atrium (RA). The hepatic vein is seen joining the IVC just before the IVC/RA junction.
